biography

Born in 1997 in Adana. He started her piano education at Çukurova University State Conservatory with Can Çoker. After seven years at Çukurova University State Conservatory, she became a piano student of Prof. Metin Ülkü at Mimar Sinan Istanbul State Conservatory between 2010 and 2015. He also studied with musician and pedagogue Alan Weiss in Belgium. He has been continuing her piano education in Germany since 2015. He is a student of Prof. Roland Kruger at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover.

He attended master classes of Peter Florian, Emre Şen, Stefan Kovacevich, Andrej Dutkievich, Diana Anderson, Alan Weiss, Johann Schmith, Jun Kanno, Gülsin Onay, Fazıl Say, Andrea Lucchesini and Ludmil Angelov.

In 2012, he was invited to the concert organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV – Young Masters and Heroes) and performed 2 piano concerts with famous pianist Gülsin Onay. In the same year, he was invited to the 13th Antalya Piano Festival and gave a concert. In 2018, he was invited to the 19th Antalya Piano Festival and gave a solo recital. In this concert, he performed the first performance of the first piano sonata he composed upon the request of famous conductor Gürer Aykal. In the same year, he gave a recital at the Sofia Music Festival. His recital was broadcast on national radio. In 2022 at the 20th International Northern Cyprus Music Festival and in 2024 at the Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman, they performed a recital with violinist Elvin Hoxha Ganiyev. He gave concerts with Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra, Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Filharmonia Dolnośląska, Samsun State Opera and Ballet and Izmir State Symphony Orchestra. In 2020, he was awarded the first prize in the category of “Cultural Achievement” by T.O.Y.P. (Ten Outstanding Young Persons) of JCI. Between 2010 and 2015, he won 11 awards from National and International piano competitions. He released 7 albums and 4 singles between 2019-2024. She continues to perform recitals in many important halls.

Until 2024, Esen composed and published more than 100 works under 42 Opus numbers. Under the name Cosmos Project, he started to release the Cosmos Album in November 2023 as a Single with an artist every month. The album presents a portfolio of composers with music Esen has written for different instruments. Among these artists were Veriko Tchumburidze, Elvin Hoxha Ganiyev, Nil Kocamangil, Cem Önertürk, Ezgi Su Apaydın, Tolga Akman and Deniz Şensoy. In November 2022, within the scope of “Voyages Project #liveinturkey”, Poyraz Baltacıgil, together with Cem Önertürk and Elvin Hoxha Ganiyev, performed concerts of cello, violin and flute sonatas in Turkey’s prestigious halls CRR and AASSM.

Scarlet Op.1 in 2015, Blue Fairy Ballet Suite Op.21 and Concerto for Strings Op.26 in 2021 by Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Cosmic Variations Op.10 in 2019 by Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra, Hypatia Op.27 in 2023 and Hypatia Op.27 in 2023 and Duo Blanc et Noir in 2024 by Selin Şekeranber and Yudum Çetiner Hypatia Op.27 in 2023 by Selin Şekeranber and Yudum Çetiner, known as the duo group “Duo Blanc et Noir”, and Concerto for Piano 4 Hands and Strings Op.38 with KODA and Duo Blanc & Noir in 2024. His Flute Sonatas were performed at the 3rd and 4th Cahit Koparal Flute Competition, and his violin work, which he composed on commission from the 20th International “Kloster Schöntal” Violin Competition in Germany, was performed as a compulsory work in the upper category of this competition.
